Clinical Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Instructor to join our team at Confederation College. As a Clinical Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a clinical setting, providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their careers.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing education, with experience in clinical teaching and mentoring. They will be able to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, and will be able to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and mentor students in a clinical setting
- Develop and implement curriculum for clinical nursing education
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure high-quality education
- Stay current with best practices in nursing education and clinical practice
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Experience in clinical teaching and mentoring
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field
- Specialty certification in nursing education
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation
- Leadership experience in nursing education
