About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at Trend Hardwood Floor. As a key member of our installation and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive top-notch service and enjoy their beautifully installed floors.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in floor covering installation and maintenance, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice and guidance throughout the installation process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and efficient installation processes.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding, guaranteeing a smooth and even finish.
  • Install carpeting on floors, using knee kickers and other equipment as necessary to ensure a professional-looking finish.
  • Prepare quotations and tenders, providing detailed estimates and proposals to clients.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, taking prompt action to address any issues and prevent further damage.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in floor covering installation and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated expertise in floor covering installation techniques and materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
