Senior Intake Specialist

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Intake & Clinical Associate to join the Transition Services team in Vancouver. This exciting opportunity offers a challenging and rewarding role where you will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to provide exceptional patient care.
About the RoleAs a Senior Intake & Clinical Associate, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to designated teams, including preparing community and team intake referrals, maintaining staffing schedules and records, and processing accurate timekeeping records.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and provide guidance to designated clerical staff
- Provide administrative support to multiple teams, including preparation of reports, correspondence, and other documents
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases
- Process incoming mail and calls, and respond to inquiries
- Coordinate meetings and events, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions
- Prepare technical and non-technical materials using various software applications
- Perform reception duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to requests
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A combination of education and experience in a related field, including three years of recent experience in a supervisory capacity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
- Ability to operate related equipment
