Job Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the warehouse functions, managing inventories, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the warehouse team, assigning tasks and ensuring effective workflow.
  • Manage inventory levels, accuracy, and quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional departments to establish best practices and improve business operations.
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses and implement process improvements to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Utilize measurement systems (KPIs/KPOs) to monitor department effectiveness and customer service.
  • Manage the QA hold and QA rejected material process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements related to Warehousing, Health Canada, FDA, and Customer Audit requirements.
  • Ensure team compliance with TARO SOPs and Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma or equivalent education and 10 years of progressive experience in warehousing, shipping, receiving, or transportation/logistics.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of people management/leadership experience.
  • Valid Driver's license and Forklift license required.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Warehousing and Material Movement best practices.
  • Understanding of Inventory Management best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Combination office/warehouse environment with 20-30% of time spent in the warehouse or production areas.
  • Exposed to noise from equipment.
