About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team at Bechtel Oil, Gas & Chemicals Incorporated. As a Senior Planner, you will play a critical role in supporting the Pape Tunnel and Underground Stations progressive design-build contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.
  • Provide schedule analysis and planning expertise to support project decision-making and goal achievement.
  • Develop and implement scheduling standards and procedures, ensuring consistency and accuracy across projects.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with project schedules and requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze comparisons of scope and quantities between projects, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain historical schedule data, providing insights and recommendations for future project planning.
  • Support the development of project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or business administration.
  • 10-13 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling, with a focus on heavy civil construction.
  • Proven expertise in Primavera P6 and other project scheduling software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
