Hospitality Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced team lead to oversee the preparation and service of food in our fast-paced kitchen environment. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are delivered consistently.
About the Role:- Lead a team of 3-4 staff members to achieve excellent results in food preparation, presentation, and service.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, and wastage to inform ordering and inventory management decisions.
- Supervise the training of new staff members, promoting a culture of ongoing learning and development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Evaluate and improve existing processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, taking into account seasonal fluctuations and demand.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, adhering to quality control standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, fostering a culture of excellence and adherence to regulations.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resource allocation.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Degree equivalent or relevant experience in a related field, such as hospitality or culinary arts.
- Proven track record of leadership and team management in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Aptitude for problem-solving and decision-making, with the ability to analyze complex situations and propose effective solutions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
