Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join our team at the University Health Network. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role in the clinical support of our ophthalmology department, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform visual work-ups, including history, medications, vision, corneal pachymetry, and other necessary tests
  • Input data into EPIC, our electronic medical record system
  • Assist with in-office procedures and provide administrative support as needed

Requirements

  • Completion of a general sciences program and at least 1 year of practical experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills, preferably in a Microsoft Office environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
