About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team at Reliance Home Comfort. As a Gas Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas appliances and equipment in residential homes. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading provider of home comfort solutions and to develop your skills and expertise in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances and equipment in residential homes
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements
  • Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure high-quality work
  • Meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets and maintain a high level of professionalism

Requirements

  • Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Must have Gas Technician '2' (G2) license
  • Must have at least a Class G Driver's License
  • Diagnostic and HVAC maintenance skills for residential equipment
  • Ability to lift and maneuver water heaters with the assistance of material handling equipment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
