We are seeking an experienced Child Welfare Services Manager to join our team at Anishinabek Employment & Training Services.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of Child Welfare services, providing direction and supervision to Child Welfare staff, and ensuring consistency of standards within the Agency Mikinaak Service Model. This role requires a strong understanding of child welfare principles and practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery of Child Welfare services
  • Provide direction and supervision to Child Welfare staff
  • Ensure consistency of standards within the Agency Mikinaak Service Model
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree or other three-year social sciences degree
  • Four-year Honours Bachelor of Social Work (HBSW) degree preferred
  • Three or more years of experience in Child Welfare/Protection services
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Direct service experience with Anishinabek children and families
  • A satisfactory Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel regularly
  • Valid Class 'G' Driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle
Compensation and Benefits:

$000 per year, plus benefits including a $1,000,000 liability vehicle insurance policy.
