Flight Simulator Instructor

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Simulator Instructor to join our team at CAE. As a Flight Simulator Instructor, you will be responsible for providing simulator instruction to military student pilots in accordance with the applicable NFTC Training Plan and Canadian Forces Individual Training and Education System (CFITES).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver simulator instruction on the Harvard II and/or Hawk 115 Flight Training Device (FTD) to military student pilots.
- Develop specific expertise in one of the many aviation-related academic subjects associated with Military Pilot Training in order to create and deliver academic lectures in support of the NFTC training program.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of specific Aircraft Operating Instructions, applicable Standard Manoeuvre Manual and NFTC pilot training syllabi.
Requirements
- A military pilot background.
- Knowledge of approved pilot instructional techniques.
- Practical military pilot instructional experience.
- Flexibility in handling tasks and projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and good presentation skills in English.
