About the Role
Mackenzie Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interprofessional team to deliver exceptional health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a workload effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and ensure seamless care delivery.
- Address and resolve issues in a productive, respectful manner, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Exercise sound professional judgment, using evidence-based practices and best guidelines to inform decision-making.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive environment for all, adhering to patient and staff safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current Certificate of Registration in the General Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- 1 year of recent acute med/surg experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an approved nursing program.
- Recent completion of a physical assessment course.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Member of the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO)/Canadian Nurses Association (CNA).
- Experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
