At Nitta Gelatin, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Training Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our plant leadership team, you will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, implementing, and tracking training and development opportunities to continuously improve our training and development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Plant Leadership Team, Team Leaders, and Subject Matter Experts to identify and prioritize training and development opportunities.
  • Effectively coordinate and communicate training activities and events, including New Hire Orientation, On-the-Job training, and Training Classes.
  • Create, update, and maintain training materials, supplies, job aids, and training tools.
  • Maintain all internal training programs and ensure accurate training records and reports.
  • Administer employee assessments and participate in training-related meetings.
  • Analyze jobs to determine duties, functions, skills, and abilities needed and assist in developing and updating job descriptions.
  • Responsible for ensuring all production work instructions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Record operator feedback and action items with relevant functional managers.
  • Lead, manage, and maintain Kaizen and 5S programs.

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Technical Degree preferred or equivalent experience in an industrial field.
  • Advanced Certification in "Train the Trainer" corporate series featuring the 4Ps of Training.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, and Health & Safety Standards.
  • MS Office Intermediate level is mandatory.
