About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter Specialist to join our team at European Painting & Wallcovering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and wallcovering services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure our clients' properties remain in excellent condition.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Client Consultation: Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings, providing expert recommendations to enhance the aesthetic appeal of their properties.
  • Work Environment: Work in various locations, including residential and commercial properties, and adapt to different work settings as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the painting and wallcovering industry, or equivalent experience.
  • Physical Capabilities: Possess excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to distinguish between colors. Be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
  • Work Conditions: Work a standard 40-hour week, with the possibility of overtime as required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
