Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting our operations and enhancing our employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Coordinator will report to the Head of People & Culture and will be responsible for a variety of essential functions, including:

  • Total Compensation & Benefits: Manage benefits enrollment and ongoing administration, ensuring comprehensive compensation management for all employee levels.
  • HR Technology and Data Management: Oversee HRIS administration, maintain data integrity, and manage HR dashboards and reporting.
  • Employee Administration: Facilitate employee onboarding, manage the employee lifecycle, and provide continuous support to staff. Lead the security clearance process for employees.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficient in HR software and tools, with experience in HR metrics and dashboards.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be eligible to obtain Government of Canada Level II (Secret level) and RCMP enhanced security clearances.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of HR design and administrative processes.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance, employment standards, and provincial human rights legislation.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at building and maintaining relationships with team members and stakeholders.
