Job Summary

As a visionary leader, the Assistant Manager at Steeps Bar and Grille is responsible for driving the success of our dining operations. This role requires a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and fostering a positive and productive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily dining operations, including front and back of house activities, to ensure seamless service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, feedback, and recognition to drive individual and team growth.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue growth, improve guest satisfaction, and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies, to achieve budgetary targets and optimize profitability.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of restaurant experience, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • ServSafe certification or regional equivalent required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
