About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team at S. J. Lawrence Architect Inc. As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in the design and development of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD) software to visualize building designs.
  • Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD) software to communicate design intent.
  • Analyze technical documents and reports to inform design decisions.
  • Prepare working drawings and specifications to facilitate construction.
  • Construct architectural and display models to showcase design concepts.
  • Assist in design development and coordination with project stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentation graphics and drawings to effectively communicate design ideas.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and SketchUp.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly.
