About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Information Modelling Specialist to join our team at Federal Electric (1976) Ltd. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, supervising drafting personnel, and training new staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise and train junior drafting personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineers and production specialists to establish product requirements, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and contracts, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Estimation and Costing: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience: At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of building information modelling software, excellent drafting and design skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
