Job Summary:

We are seeking a Part-Time Temporary Contract PSW to provide safe and efficient personal care and homemaking for tenants in our Supportive Housing program. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to tenants, including activities of daily living (ADLS) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLS)
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, staff, and families
  • Provide excellent customer service in a respectful and courteous manner
  • Adapt to changing needs of tenants and adjust service delivery as required
  • Observe and report changes in tenant status
  • Record necessary data on tenant health and service provision

Requirements:

  • Training and education in caring for seniors in a community setting
  • Demonstrated experience in caring for seniors in a community setting
  • Current CPR Certification an asset
  • Valid PSW Certification

This role is a Part-Time Temporary Contract position, with a 30-hour per pay period schedule. Shifts:

The scheduled shifts for this role are Sunday 07:00-15:00, Thursday 07:00-15:00, Monday 07:00-15:00, and Saturday 07:00-15:00. Qualifications:

Qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to, training and education in caring for seniors in a community setting, demonstrated experience in caring for seniors in a community setting, current CPR Certification an asset, and valid PSW Certification. Eligibility and Selection Criteria:
