Job Title: Transportation Coordinator

PANJAAB TRANSPORT is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and organizing the logistics of our trucking company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logistics Planning: Plan and organize the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
  • Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, arrange for maintenance and repair work, and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
  • Reporting and Training: Prepare and maintain progress and other reports, train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff.
  • Dispatch and Scheduling: Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, keep track of shipments, and record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Have knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations

Work Environment:

  • Trucking company
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language
