About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Jaskiran Jassal. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance to our clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administering Medications: Safely administer medications to clients as prescribed by their healthcare providers.
  • Personal Hygiene Assistance: Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their dignity and independence.
  • Exercise and Mobility: Encourage and assist clients in regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health and mobility.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
