The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will report directly to the VP of Finance and IT, as well as the CFO. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial accuracy and providing strategic insights to influence key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Business P&L Coordination: Take charge of managing the Profit and Loss statements for both Wholesale and Retail sectors, delivering essential information to the Senior Leadership team to meet organizational goals.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the long-term financial planning cycle, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Financial Business Planning Process: Oversee and enhance the financial planning process, including budget preparation and forecasting.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Contribute to the strategic direction of Lindt Canada during Key Leaders forums and collaborate with the Finance Leadership Team.
- Cross-Functional Responsibilities: Own the FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, and Marketing Finance functions, fostering collaboration across departments.
- Team Management: Effectively manage a team of three direct reports, including Senior Financial Analysts for Marketing and Supply Chain Finance.
- P&L Management: Responsible for the monthly reporting of key financial figures to the Canadian executive team and coordinating the submission of essential comments.
- Long-Term Planning: Lead the planning and development of critical business processes, including the Mid Term plan and annual budget.
- Partnership with Operations: Collaborate with Operations on the annual Capital budget, focusing on planning, forecasting, and performance management.
- Investment Requests: Assist in the development of investment proposals and securing executive approvals.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance, with extensive experience and a comprehensive understanding of financial practices. Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in financial modeling and systems are essential for success in this role.
