Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets to ensure a high level of presentation.
- Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient use of resources and maximum productivity.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required. Temporary employment opportunities are available.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
