Pizza Pros is seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items to meet the demands of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate special events and plan menus to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Determine food portion sizes and costs to maintain profitability.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer demands.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure high-quality service.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, overtime required, physically demanding, and repetitive tasks.
- Provides physical accessibility accommodations, visual accessibility accommodations, and auditory accessibility accommodations.
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.

- Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers.
- Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination.
- Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
