Pizza Pros is seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate special events and plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
- Determine the size of food portions and costs, and requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, and prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas, and train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and clean kitchen and work areas
- Recruit and hire staff, and organize buffets and banquets
- Manage kitchen operations and ensure a fast-paced environment
- Work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail and handling heavy loads
- Work overtime required and be prepared for repetitive tasks
