Transportation and Logistics Executive

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager of Operations to lead our transportation and logistics team at Pantos Logistics Canada Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation and logistics, with a proven track record of success in a middle management position.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership to support the business objectives and initiatives of Pantos Logistics Canada Inc.
- Develop and implement operational plans to ensure the efficient delivery of services.
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies, and provide feedback for improvement.
- Manage the allocation of resources necessary for implementing policies and operational needs.
- Improve employee relations and retention by planning and implementing strategies to develop leadership, including leadership training for management.
- Facilitate management meetings and monitor operational performance and needs.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in transportation and logistics in a middle management position.
- Proven experience in management and leadership roles.
- University degree or college diploma in business administration or other programs relevant to transportation and logistics or certification in logistics management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills at an executive level.
- Strong interpersonal skills at all levels and types of clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to plan, implement, and evaluate.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to prioritize and multi-task.
- Flexibility in travel and work schedule, including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as operational needs may require.
