About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as with cleaning, sterilizing, and setting up medical equipment.
  • Provide Personal Care: Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, including serving meal trays, feeding patients, and making beds.
  • Administer First Aid: Administer first aid in emergency situations and maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Maintain Client Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care and services provided.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for clients.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate and CPR Certificate.
