Viking Fire Protection Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Sales Representative – Fire Alarm Division to join our growing team.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in fire alarm systems to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales within the fire protection industry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Present and demonstrate our comprehensive range of fire alarm products and services.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and quotations, effectively communicating technical information to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, codes, and regulations governing fire alarm systems.
Qualifications
  • Possess a college diploma in fire protection, building mechanics, or civil engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the fire alarm contracting business.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and/or installing fire alarm systems (an asset).
  • Possess a strong understanding of products used in fire protection and fire alarm systems, particularly Notifier products (an asset).
  • Be knowledgeable about standards and codes governing the design and installation of fire alarm systems.
  • Hold CFAA certification (an asset).
  • Maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Exhibit strong independent work ethic and exceptional customer service skills.

  • Work schedule from 8am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-1:30pm Friday.
