Fire Alarm Systems Specialist

At Viking Fire Protection Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and training to clients on fire alarm systems
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in fire alarm technology

Requirements:

  • College diploma in fire protection or building mechanics or civil engineering, or high school diploma and equivalent relevant experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the fire alarm contracting business
  • Experience troubleshooting and/or installing fire alarm systems (an asset)
  • Knowledge of products used in fire protection and fire alarm and more specifically Notifier products (an asset)
  • Proficiency in standards and codes governing the design and installation of fire alarm systems
  • CFAA certification (an asset)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Strong customer service skills
