Zurich Canada is seeking a highly skilled MuleSoft Integration Developer to join our team. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing API solutions to integrate various software systems, enhance functionality, and improve user experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement integration solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain Mulesoft integration solutions.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of Mulesoft applications.
- Develop and coordinate Mulesoft integration applications using Anypoint Studio.
- Create API specifications and implement API designs.
- Perform and coordinate unit testing and debugging to ensure the reliability of integrations.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 or more years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- AND 3 years or more of experience of MuleSoft integration development, design, build, test, debug, deploy, APIs and integrations.
- Experience working with multiple phases of software systems programming applications.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Insurance Industry Experience.
- Proficiency in API design and development using RESTful, SOAP, or GraphQL.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or.NET.
- Experience with API management tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger, Apigee).
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (e.g., OAuth, JWT, SAML).
- Familiarity with database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data integration.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
