The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mulesoft Developer to join our IT Business Applications team. As a Mulesoft Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using the Mule ESB Anypoint platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mule ESB Anypoint platform, including Mule Runtime, Connectors, Design Center, and API management.
  • Develop Mule services and integrations in a CI/CD and Agile process, working closely with DevOps personnel.
  • Assist in technology decisions related to Mulesoft and integration environment.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical and process documentation.
  • Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary for the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working with the MuleSoft Anypoint platform (4.x) as a Developer.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong cognitive ability, especially with respect to understanding, documenting, and describing complex technical subjects.
  • Ability to apply technology solutions to real business requirements.

Technology

  • Application Development using Mule ESB and SOA/EAI technologies and API management, MuleSoft - ESB Enterprise Edition, CloudHub.
  • Experience working with development of APIs leveraging RAML (with JSON and/or XML), MUnit Testing, Scaffolding, DataWeave, Error Handling, RESTAnypoint StudioPUB/SUB model of messaging and queues, knowledge of Active MQDatabase access using JDBC, SQL.
  • Good understanding of underlying Mule ESB architecture with experience of server administration and physical deployment (On Cloud, On Premise and Hybrid).
  • Experience in: Source control management using GIT (Github)DevOps practices leveraging CI/CD using Maven, Jenkins, and MulesoftDesign Patterns, REST Web Services.
  • Application development including: An understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologyDesigning appropriate load and performance test plans, goals, objectives, execution, with tuning acumen.
