Senior MuleSoft Integration Specialist

fusionSpan is a dynamic organization that values technology and innovation. We are seeking a Senior MuleSoft Integration Specialist to join our team.
This is a 100% remote position, offering full-time or contract opportunities.
As part of our Engineering team, the MuleSoft Integration Specialist will design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integration solutions, develop custom applications, integrate various IT systems, and work on Salesforce implementation projects. This role will involve working with multiple non-profit organizations.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop MuleSoft integration solutions, APIs, and integrations
- Develop web services with SOAP and REST APIs
- Design and develop detailed software design documentation and API documentation
- Work on cutting-edge technologies like Big Data, reliable messaging frameworks & ETL
- Design and develop APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Implement API-led connectivity solutions that cater to enterprise integration needs
- Participate in each phase of the software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and maintenance
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand the systems integrated with MuleSoft
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues
- Conduct unit testing and assist the Quality Assurance team in integration and system tests
- 3+ years of experience as a MuleSoft developer
- Software design and architecture experience
- Experience with a public cloud like AWS/Azure
- Experience with APIs, REST and/or SOAP web services
- Experience in Agile development methodology/Scrum
- Solid understanding of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Mule Runtime, Mule API gateway, and all other MuleSoft products
- Experience with Apache MQ or other messaging technology
- Knowledge of Integration Design patterns and MicroServices architecture
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
