About the Role

CarePartners is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team in the Bobcaygeon area. As a PSW, you will play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare to patients in their homes and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, and medication management.
  • Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to special diets as determined by the care plan.
  • Ensure a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics and home safety practices.

Requirements

  • Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent.
  • Current vulnerable sector check screening and a clear background check.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle.
