Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our experienced finance team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the financial activities of our large business, including operational accounting, financial reporting, and budget preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Accounting: Participate in the accounting cycle, billing, collection, supplier invoice approval policy, capital assets, adjusting entries, account reconciliations, and other related tasks.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Budget Preparation: Coordinate cost center budget preparation, analyze deviations, and liaise with department managers to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and actively participate in cash flow forecasts related to operations and projects.
  • Audit and Compliance: Participate in the audit file with external auditors and taxation team, as needed.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects, prepare ad hoc reports, and perform other tasks related to your expertise.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Language: Bilingualism in French and English is mandatory.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, SAP or other ERP experience an asset, advanced knowledge of Excel, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, autonomy, flexibility, and ability to work well under deadline pressure.
