Project Manager I, Enterprise Clinical Information Solutions Lead

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager I to lead our Enterprise Clinical Information Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing incidents and issues of the Cerner / Oracle Health environment, ensuring that system incidents and issues are documented, communicated, and reviewed, and taking action to enhance system resilience over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and execute project plans according to project methodologies, ensuring successful and coordinated completion of project components.
- Track project progress according to project plan and identified metrics, monitoring and reporting on the status of projects and major barriers encountered.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of project budgets within the context of operations demands and environmental and resource constraints.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Document system incidents and issues, partnering with the Technical Solutions team and the Application Solutions team to gather inputs and chart a path forward.
- Lead communications to various senior leadership audiences, ensuring expediency and conciseness.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to expedite the triage of system impacting incidents and issues.
Requirements
- A Master's Degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, or a relevant healthcare discipline, with a minimum of five years of recent, related experience in project management and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies, with the ability to coach team members on these skills.
- Experience or working knowledge of content areas is key to the success of this role, with excellent communication skills to function within a complex interdisciplinary environment.
- Utilizes effective facilitation, persuasion, and negotiation abilities to achieve consensus, resolve conflict, and achieve desired outcomes.
