About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pulmonary Function Technologist to join our team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our Pulmonary Function Lab, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic lung tests and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct various diagnostic lung tests on patients, ensuring accurate and reliable results
  • Operate and maintain equipment, adhering to strict quality control standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Two years of experience in a Pulmonary Function lab or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Physiology, Biology, Kinesiology, or equivalent
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Cardio Pulmonary Technologists (CACPT)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
