Reporting to the Process Supervisor/Logistics Supervisor/General Manager, the Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for accurately entering all production schedules into the Management Information System (MIS) promptly, ensuring that special instructions are noted on customer documentation. This role supervises shipping and receiving activities, personnel, and documentation in compliance with Sotera Health's quality and safety protocols. The Coordinator manages inbound and outbound logistics and assists the Process Supervisor in maintaining sufficient warehouse capacity to support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manages customer truck logistics. May be tasked with training Shipping/Receiving staff. Supervises the correct handling of designated samples for laboratory analysis, including retrieval, documentation, and shipping. Oversees all shipping activities with Federal Express and UPS, including receiving, distribution, reporting, and supply replenishment. May facilitate the cross-utilization of production and Shipping/Receiving staff when necessary. Ensures proper tagging and storage of customer products as required. Generates Bills of Lading as needed. Verifies that all customer shipping documentation requirements on packing lists are fulfilled. Assists with additional tasks as directed by the Supervisor.

Supervision Responsibilities

Oversees the work of other personnel.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Shipping/Receiving. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking fluent English. Competence in using a computer and analyzing data in databases or spreadsheets. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

$25 - $28 CAD per hour, based on experience.

Required Training

Completion of all mandatory training for a "Supply Chain Coordinator" as outlined in the training manual.
