Elgin County is in search of a Lead Medical Planner to become a vital part of the Planning & Development Department. Reporting directly to the Director of Planning & Development, the Lead Medical Planner will oversee all aspects of land use planning related to healthcare facilities. This position entails executing the County's Official Plan, managing development initiatives, and offering expert guidance to Councils and Committees.

  • At least 5 years of experience in municipal or private sector planning
  • Bachelor's degree in Planning or a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines
  • Capability to lead projects and supervise consultants
  • Proficient computer skills and readiness to travel
