Job Title: Healthcare Training Specialist

Overview

As a Healthcare Training Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to instruct and mentor field personnel within the district. This role encompasses the delivery of educational sessions, training workshops, and in-service programs across all service lines in alignment with the district's educational strategy, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and train preceptors for student placements
  • Facilitate clinical orientation for nursing staff
  • Organize mandatory or site-specific training sessions
  • Implement the district's educational framework
  • Conduct PSS training programs
  • Perform needs assessments for the educational strategy
  • Promote adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Incorporate client-centered care expectations

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse licensure
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in adult education
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a community healthcare setting
  • C.N.A. certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with relevant healthcare legislation
  • Proficiency in care standards
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal abilities
  • Exceptional critical thinking capabilities
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Excellent computer proficiency
  • Clear Vulnerable Position Screening
