In the role of Healthcare Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal part in the education and training of field personnel within the district. Your responsibilities will include the delivery of training sessions, educational programs, and in-service training across all business sectors in alignment with the district's educational strategy, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and train preceptors for student placements
  • Facilitate clinical orientation for nursing staff
  • Organize mandatory or site-specific training sessions
  • Implement the district's educational strategy
  • Conduct PSS training initiatives
  • Perform needs assessments for educational planning
  • Promote adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Incorporate client-centered care expectations

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with current licensing
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in adult education
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a community healthcare setting
  • C.N.A. certification is advantageous
  • Familiarity with relevant healthcare legislation
  • Proficiency in care standards
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal abilities
  • Exceptional critical thinking capabilities
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Excellent computer proficiency
  • Clear Vulnerable Position Screening
