Position Overview: The Childcare Centre Administrator is a pivotal role responsible for managing the daily operations of a childcare facility dedicated to supporting the well-being of children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of culturally relevant programming and curriculum tailored for the community.
- Handle the registration process for children and manage parent and subsidy fee collections.
- Prepare reports and facilitate inclusion support payments.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with external agencies and community resources.
- Administer and maintain the centre's budget effectively.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Child Development or an ECE III Diploma; an Advanced ECE III Diploma is preferred.
- Certification in Circle of Security is advantageous.
- Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Must possess a clear Vulnerable Sector Check, Criminal Record Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check.
- Familiarity with Métis culture and relevant programs is a significant asset.
- A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are required.
