Parking Services Representative (Seasonal)

The Parking Services Representative is a dynamic role, actively engaging with customers throughout the parking facility during peak times. The primary duty is to maintain a visible presence and proactively assist patrons. This includes offering information on parking fees, availability, and procedures, as well as guiding customers to appropriate parking spots and payment stations, while addressing any inquiries or concerns to enhance the overall customer experience. You will also be responsible for ensuring a secure environment by reporting any suspicious activities and assisting customers in emergencies. Working collaboratively with fellow staff members, you will help facilitate smooth operations and communicate any notable incidents or issues.

Temporary seasonal - Part-time

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with inquiries and provide necessary information
  • Inform patrons about parking rates, exit procedures, and accepted payment methods
  • Support operations during irregular situations or when the facility reaches capacity
  • Report operational needs related to maintenance, waste management, and cleaning
  • Assist the Parking Supervisor and PARCS Specialist as required
  • Perform basic maintenance on parking equipment
  • Deliver clear instructions to customers and airport personnel
  • Conduct parking lot counts and initiate contingency processes when necessary
  • Support peak traffic flows based on flight schedules and parking transaction data near pay stations
  • Manage overflow parking when required
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience
  • Basic knowledge of the parking industry and operations
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • A combination of experience and education will be considered

  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal; additional language skills are a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple departments
  • Capable of making quick decisions with limited information and prioritizing tasks effectively
