Bakery Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Breton Family Foods. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to meet established quality standards.
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet customer expectations.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment to prepare and bake goods.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods to meet customer demand.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30-40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
Work Environment:
