About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Manager to join our team at Recruit4HVAC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department, promoting a positive workplace culture, and providing leadership and direction to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Department Management: Oversee and manage the daily operation of the service department, ensuring efficient and effective use of equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and direction to the team, with training and evaluation of job performance, promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Quality Assurance: Quality assurance of all service reports, auditing for quality and consistency.
  • Customer Service: Foster excellent relationships and communication with customers, resolving issues and providing quotes for repairs or installations of HVAC systems.
  • Project Management: Manage service projects and maintenance agreements, effectively pricing and recommending maintenance programs.
  • Financial Management: Work with the management team regarding profitability and P&L, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
Requirements and Skills
  • Management Experience: 5+ years of formal management experience, with a continues improvement mindset.
  • P&L Experience: Direct experience working with customers and problem-solving, with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems involving varied levels of complexity, ambiguity, and risk.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and motivate team members.
  • Technical Skills: Technology savvy, with experience in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM/ERP, and QuickBooks.
  • Industry Experience: HVAC industry experience desired but not required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher education in Engineer, Business Administration, or similar vocation desired.
