The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with outstanding communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Physical Security:

  • Implement the best practices of the Mattel Global Security Department to protect the company's physical assets and personnel from theft, damage, and unlawful activities.
  • Carry out security responsibilities and related tasks as outlined in the Contingency Operations and Standard Operating Procedures under the guidance of the Security Leader and Supervisors.
  • Perform administrative duties as required by post orders, including managing employee entrances and conducting patrols.
  • Oversee traffic control, visitor registration, and assist contractors and delivery personnel while also handling phone inquiries.
  • Conduct mobile and foot patrols to identify security and facility-related issues, monitor access control systems, CCTV, and management systems.
  • Support initiatives related to intellectual property protection.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all employees, vendors, and visitors on site.

Safety Responsibilities:

  • Monitor fire control panels for alarms and equipment issues, reporting maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to emergencies by contacting the Security Supervisor or Facilities personnel as necessary, completing incident reports, and providing first aid or transporting individuals for medical attention when required.
  • Conduct monthly safety inspections, including checks on fire extinguishers and AEDs.

Additional tasks may be assigned based on business requirements, and overtime may be necessary on short notice.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in security, asset protection, loss prevention, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and Security Guard License is mandatory.
  • Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Blood-borne Pathogens is required, or willingness to obtain certification through training provided by Mattel.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Ability to interpret general business policies, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Familiarity with security equipment, including metal detectors and CCTV systems.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.
