Job Title: Industrial Safety Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Safety Officer to join our team at LEXO-1000 INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and control daily operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Plan and organize daily operations to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards and investigate workplace accidents or illnesses.
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans to prevent disease or injury.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and oversee the preparation of reports.
  • Advise senior management on health and safety matters and respond to employee questions and complaints.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
