Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Key Holder to join our team at Kiehl's Boutique. As a Key Holder, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to create an unforgettable customer experience. Demonstrate fundamental product knowledge and provide service and beauty advice to customers.
- Sales and Merchandising: Generate sales to achieve sales targets by applying brand selling methods, product knowledge, and following basic service flow. Maximize selling opportunities by link-selling and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
- Store Operations: Support daily operations at point of sales (POS) activities, enforce company policies and procedures, and follow brand CRM procedures to recruit and retain customers.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain the counter/store quality and merchandising, including ensuring on-shelf product availability, maintaining appearance and cleanliness of the store, and merchandising.
- Communication: Communicate useful information about competition, clients, or other key events to the Store Manager.
- Store Opening and Closing Procedures: Perform open and closing procedures for the store, including attending all scheduled shifts.
Requirements
- Retail and Cosmetic Experience: Prior retail and/or cosmetic experience preferred.
- Key Holder Experience: Prior key holder experience preferred.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Great communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Age: Must be 18 years or older.
- Language: English mandatory, second language an asset.
