Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Service
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
- Load buspans and trays with clean dishes and utensils.
- Cleaning and Sanitation
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
- Scour pots and pans to maintain their condition.
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
- Inventory Management
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
- General Maintenance
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Sharpen kitchen knives to maintain their effectiveness.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Language
- Fluency in English.
The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
