About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic Assistant to join our team at Akal Diesel Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diesel trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tool Management: Safely move and store tools, equipment, and other materials to maintain a well-organized workshop.
  • Site Support: Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, providing support during surveying activities and ensuring safety procedures are followed.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
Requirements
  • Physical Abilities: Manual dexterity, work under pressure, and fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Team player, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • Work Conditions: 40 hours per week, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
