About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Artist to join our team at Moment Factory. As a Technical Artist, you will play a key role in creating immersive multimedia environments for artists, museums, airports, brands, theme parks, and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to artistic teams in aspects related to content creation, ensuring that animated visual content is high-performing, consistent, and efficiently produced for multimedia installations.
  • Integrate models, configure lighting, create materials, and design special effects.
  • Develop necessary tools for the artistic team, including custom shaders, post effects, and real-time rendering.
  • Participate in software testing and contribute to the version control system.
  • Stay informed about technological innovations and new techniques in real-time visual programming.
  • Participate in creative and technical meetings, and keep technical documentation up to date.
Requirements
  • University or college degree in digital arts, interactive design, animation, programming, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the video game, film, virtual reality, or other creative industries.
  • Proficiency with software such as Houdini, Nuke, Fusion, and After Effects for creating complex visual effects and compositing.
  • Experience scripting with Python programming language and skills in C++ programming language.
  • Understanding of production pipelines and workflows.
  • Proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written.
