Food Service Manager

At Earl of Whitchurch, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective food service operations.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Establish work schedules, balancing staff needs with operational requirements.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
- Basic security clearance.
- Own transportation.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, work under pressure, and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and attention to detail.
